  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not use your family, household, or child-related app content for targeted advertising.
  • We share information only in limited circumstances, such as with service providers needed to run the app, provide authentication, hosting, analytics, payments, support, integrations, and optional AI processing.
  • Optional AI features may use third-party AI providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic, to process content you choose to submit for those features.
  • Optional calendar sync may connect with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Microsoft Outlook Calendar if you choose to enable it.
  • You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information.

3. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use Kinlove’s website, mobile application, beta product, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect from:

  • people who create or use a Kinlove account;
  • invited household members, caregivers, or “Tribe” members;
  • people who interact with our website, communications, surveys, waitlist, beta testing program, or support channels; and
  • information you choose to connect through third-party integrations.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, apps, or services that we do not own or control.

4. Who Kinlove Is For

Kinlove is designed for adults, including parents, guardians, caregivers, and other authorized household members.

Kinlove is not intended for children to create accounts or use the Services independently. If you choose to enter information relating to your child or another family member, you are responsible for ensuring that you have authority to provide that information.

We ask users not to enter highly sensitive medical, legal, financial, or safety-related information into general free-text fields unless a feature is specifically designed for that purpose and we clearly explain how that information will be handled.

5. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories.

A. Information You Provide Directly

Depending on how you use Kinlove, you may provide:

  • your name, email address, phone number, login credentials, and account information;
  • profile information;
  • household or family information;
  • names and contact details for household members, caregivers, or Tribe members you invite;
  • tasks, to-dos, assignments, reminders, notes, routines, and related content;
  • calendar events, schedules, and planning information;
  • meal plans, grocery lists, food preferences, and household preferences;
  • support messages, beta feedback, survey responses, and other communications with us; and
  • content you upload, type, record, photograph, import, or otherwise submit through the Services.

B. Child or Family-Related Information You Choose to Provide

Because Kinlove is designed to help families coordinate daily life, users may choose to enter information related to children or other family members, such as:

  • names;
  • schedules;
  • routines;
  • activities;
  • preferences;
  • caregiving notes;
  • school or activity-related reminders; and
  • family planning or household coordination details.

We use this information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services for the account holder and authorized users. We do not use child-related or family app content for targeted advertising.

C. Information From Integrations

If you choose to connect third-party services, we may receive information from those services, such as:

  • calendar event information;
  • account identifiers;
  • contact or scheduling data necessary for the integration to function; and
  • other information you authorize the third-party service to share with us.

The information we receive depends on the integration, the permissions you grant, and your settings with that third party.

D. Information Collected Automatically

When you use Kinlove, we may automatically collect limited technical and usage information, such as:

  • IP address;
  • device type;
  • operating system;
  • browser type;
  • app version;
  • log data;
  • approximate location based on IP address;
  • referring pages or links;
  • usage information, such as features used, screens viewed, actions taken, and interaction timestamps; and
  • crash, diagnostic, and performance data.

We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Services.

E. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, software development kits, pixels, or similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, understand usage, improve performance, and maintain security.

You may be able to control cookies through your browser or device settings. Some features may not work properly if certain cookies or similar technologies are disabled.

6. How We Use Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • to create and manage accounts;
  • to provide the Services and core app functionality;
  • to enable household collaboration and Tribe access;
  • to sync calendars, tasks, events, routines, and related information;
  • to process subscriptions or payments;
  • to respond to support requests and communicate with you;
  • to administer surveys, beta testing, feedback, and product research;
  • to personalize your experience within the Services;
  • to maintain security, detect abuse, prevent fraud, and protect users;
  • to troubleshoot bugs and improve reliability, performance, and usability;
  • to understand how users interact with the Services;
  • to comply with legal obligations;
  • to enforce our terms and policies; and
  • to provide AI-powered features, if you choose to use them.

We do not use your family, household, or child-related app content for targeted advertising.

7. AI-Powered Features

Kinlove may offer optional AI-powered features, such as transcription, summarization, extraction of tasks from notes, photos, screenshots, or voice input, meal or planning suggestions, schedule organization, or similar tools.

If you choose to use an AI-powered feature, we may send the content necessary to provide that feature to third-party AI service providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic. Depending on the feature, this may include:

  • voice notes or audio transcriptions;
  • free-text notes or messages;
  • photos, screenshots, or uploaded files you choose to submit;
  • task descriptions;
  • meal-planning inputs;
  • calendar or scheduling context needed to generate the requested result; and
  • related household or family context necessary to complete the request.

We use this information to provide the AI-powered feature you requested, maintain safety and reliability, troubleshoot errors, and improve the Services.

We do not intentionally opt customer content into third-party AI model training programs. We aim to configure AI services in a manner consistent with providing the requested feature rather than using customer content for unrelated purposes.

If you do not want your content processed by OpenAI, Anthropic, or another AI provider for a given feature, do not use that AI-powered feature.

AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them, especially for decisions related to health, safety, legal, financial, childcare, or other sensitive matters.

8. Calendar Integrations

Kinlove may offer optional integrations with third-party calendar services, including Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Microsoft Outlook Calendar.

If you choose to connect a calendar integration, we may access and process calendar information needed to provide the sync feature, such as event titles, dates, times, attendees, locations, notes, reminders, recurrence rules, and related scheduling metadata, depending on the permissions you grant and the way you use the integration.

These integrations are optional. You control whether to connect them, and you can disconnect them through the settings we make available or through the settings of the third-party provider.

If two-way sync is enabled, Kinlove may read calendar information from the connected service and may create, update, or delete calendar events in that service based on your actions in Kinlove.

Your use of third-party calendar services is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers.

9. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share your personal information with advertisers for targeted advertising based on family, household, caregiving, or child-related app content.

We may share information in the following limited circumstances.

A. With Service Providers

We share information with vendors that help us operate the Services, such as providers for:

  • cloud hosting and infrastructure;
  • authentication and account management;
  • analytics and diagnostics;
  • payment processing;
  • customer support tools;
  • email, calendar, and productivity integrations;
  • communications tools;
  • security and fraud prevention; and
  • AI processing providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic, if you use AI-powered features.

These providers may access information only as needed to perform services for us and are expected to protect it appropriately.

B. With Other Users You Authorize

Kinlove is designed for collaboration. If you invite household members, caregivers, or Tribe members, certain information may be visible to those users depending on permissions, roles, account settings, and the features you use.

You are responsible for choosing whom you invite and what information you make available to them through the Services.

C. For Legal, Safety, and Security Reasons

We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
  • enforce our terms or other agreements;
  • protect the rights, safety, or property of Kinlove, our users, children, family members, or others;
  • investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or
  • prevent harm.

D. Business Transfers

If Kinlove is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that process, subject to applicable law.

E. With Your Direction or Consent

We may share information when you direct us to do so or give us permission, such as when you connect an integration, invite another user, export information, or use a feature that requires sharing information with a third party.

10. What We Do Not Do

As part of our current beta and MVP approach:

  • we do not sell personal information;
  • we do not use family, household, caregiving, or child-related app content for targeted advertising;
  • we do not knowingly allow advertisers to target users based on household schedules, family routines, caregiving information, child-related information, or similar sensitive app content; and
  • we do not intentionally opt customer content into third-party AI model training programs.

If this ever changes in a material way, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide appropriate notice.

11. De-Identified or Aggregated Information

We may create or use de-identified, aggregated, or anonymized information that does not reasonably identify you or your household. We may use this information to understand and improve the Services, analyze trends, develop new features, and communicate about the Services.

We will not attempt to re-identify information that we maintain as de-identified, except as permitted or required by law.

12. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and protect the security and integrity of the Services.

If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain certain information for legal, security, accounting, backup, dispute-resolution, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Residual copies may remain in backups for a limited period before they are deleted or overwritten in the normal course.

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of your information;

  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
  • appeal or complain about how we respond to your request, where applicable.

You may also:

  • update certain account information in the app;
  • manage invitations and permissions for household members, caregivers, or Tribe members;
  • connect or disconnect optional integrations; and
  • unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in those messages.

14. Children's Information

Kinlove is intended for use by adults. We do not intend for children to create accounts or use the Services independently.

However, because the Services help adults organize family life, users may choose to provide information related to children in their care. We treat this information as part of the account holder's use of the Services and use it to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.

If you believe we have collected personal information directly from a child without appropriate authorization, please contact us at and we will investigate and take appropriate steps.

15. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we become aware of a data breach affecting personal information, we will respond in accordance with applicable law.

16. International Data Transfers

Where required by law, we take appropriate steps designed to protect personal information transferred across borders.
